This recently finished project was a complete tear-off of old roofing, and we replaced the homeowner’s old skylights as well. The house was a cottage-style structure with no attic, so there was a thick insulation board under two layers of shingles. We supplied all new decking and insulation to make a completely smooth surface, as you can see in the nearby image. The old skylights were a simple molded plastic style, so we built new custom framing and wrapped the frames with water guard and field fabricated flashing. It turned out beautifully. This house has a gorgeous view overlooking the Potomac River, making it a pleasant job site for the Dominion Roofing Co team!
